Daily operations
We review instances, users, space usage and maintenance activities within scope. Tasks are documented so your team understands what has been reviewed and what requires attention.
CAPTRION IT · SMART LOGIC SOLUTIONS
Your database needs operational attention, capacity planning and clear recovery procedures. We support Oracle Database administration and examine its application dependencies, turning everyday symptoms into prioritized technical actions.

01 / ADMINISTRATION
We establish a working baseline from your instances, versions, dependent applications and available tools.
We review instances, users, space usage and maintenance activities within scope. Tasks are documented so your team understands what has been reviewed and what requires attention.
We use available metrics, alerts and logs, including OEM where it is part of the environment. Events, trends and outstanding actions are reviewed on an agreed schedule.
We support access configuration reviews and authorized changes. Owners, dependencies and validation steps are identified to maintain a traceable record of interventions.
02 / PERFORMANCE AND RECOVERY
Database behavior needs context: a wait or lock may be related to an application, its connections or the resources available to the environment.
We investigate queries, sessions, locks and waits to locate bottlenecks. Recommendations are prioritized using evidence, with application owners involved in changes that require their input.
We review utilization and trends to identify future space or resource needs. Recommendations take account of actual workload and the growth plans shared by the client.
We review backups and RMAN recovery procedures within scope. Restore tests are planned in authorized environments, with results, requirements and limitations documented.
Patches, upgrades and migrations require compatibility and dependency reviews. We agree work windows, tests and rollback criteria before making production changes.
03 / DELIVERABLES AND SCOPE
Each proposal connects technical activities to the engagement objective and the resources needed to carry them out.
An assessment may provide an inventory, operational findings, observed risks and recommendations. The plan separates immediate actions from improvements requiring further coordination or investment.
We can address a defined need or agree periodic administration tasks. Components, coverage, response times, owners and reporting frequency are established for the engagement.
Agreed deliverables may include backup and recovery procedures, a change register, test results and capacity findings. We share the operational context your team needs to continue the work.
A VISIBLE PROCESS
Each phase has a purpose, an owner and evidence of completion.
Identify instances, dependencies, workload and existing procedures.
Deliverable: Service baseline.
Agree which risks and needs should be addressed first.
Deliverable: Approved plan and scope.
Carry out authorized tasks and verify the agreed results.
Deliverable: Documented validation.
Review outstanding actions and procedures with internal owners.
Deliverable: Recommendations and handover.
BEFORE WE START
We work on the client’s infrastructure, licenses and tools. The proposal identifies required access and resources, together with any dependencies that must be addressed before work begins.
A backup file is one part of the process. Its execution, availability and restore procedure also need attention. We can agree tests to understand what can be recovered and under which conditions.
Yes. We can coordinate the analysis of connections, pools, sessions and response times across components within scope. This helps connect the evidence before configuration adjustments are made.
Your Oracle Database version, a description of the environment, its dependent applications and the main problem or objective. Technical access is coordinated after the scope has been defined.
