CAPTRION IT · SMART LOGIC SOLUTIONS

Middleware expertise with operational clarity.

An application depends on much more than its code. We administer and help evolve the platforms connecting users, services and data. Our middleware professionals bring more than 10 years of experience to understanding your environment, investigating incidents and working through clear priorities.

01 / PLATFORMS

Expertise where your applications run.

We start with your versions, dependencies and existing tools to define the components we will manage and how they work together.

Oracle WebLogic and OHS

Administration of domains, clusters, Managed Servers and Node Manager. We also review the request path through OHS, including proxies, routes, virtual hosts and certificates.

  • Configuration and deployments
  • Connectivity and troubleshooting
  • Environment documentation

OSB and Forms & Reports

We support configuration, deployments and troubleshooting for the components within scope. Dependencies and errors are examined to understand where a process is breaking down.

JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat

Java application server administration and operational configuration reviews. We examine logs, resources and connections to inform support activities and necessary changes.

02 / SERVICES

From an incident to a better documented operation.

We combine immediate needs with preventive actions prioritized according to their impact on your business.

Operations and observability

We organize alert, log and metric reviews using the client’s available tools, including OEM. Incidents, changes and outstanding actions are recorded so follow-up can continue across interventions.

Performance and capacity

We investigate the JVM, heap, garbage collection, threads, JDBC pools, connections and timeouts. Findings are assessed against workload and database dependencies before changes are recommended.

Security and continuity

We review TLS, certificates, access and configuration backups within the contracted scope. Patches and changes are planned with maintenance windows, validation steps and rollback procedures.

Automation and modernization

We standardize suitable tasks with WLST and Shell. Upgrades and migrations include compatibility assessment, testing outside production and knowledge transfer.

03 / SERVICE MODEL

An engagement that fits your team.

Start with an assessment, address a defined project or arrange recurring operations. Responsibilities are made clear from the beginning.

Assessment or project

We define the problem, the components involved and the expected outcome. Deliverables include prioritized findings, an intervention plan and evidence from the agreed validation activities.

Ongoing support

We agree activities, contacts, communication channels and review frequency. The proposal defines coverage, priorities and response times according to requirements and availability.

Documentation you can use

Work may include an inventory, dependency map, change register, operational procedures and recommendations. We identify the documents appropriate to your service during scoping.

A VISIBLE PROCESS

From business need to operation

Each phase has a purpose, an owner and evidence of completion.

  1. Understand

Review architecture, versions, incidents and access constraints.

    Deliverable: Inventory and priorities.

  2. Plan

Agree scope, owners, work windows and acceptance criteria.

    Deliverable: Intervention plan.

  3. Implement and validate

Apply authorized changes and review their behavior.

    Deliverable: Evidence and change record.

  4. Maintain continuity

Document operations and the next recommended improvements.

    Deliverable: Procedures and roadmap.

BEFORE WE START

Frequently asked questions

Can you work alongside our internal team?

Yes. We can complement your administrators and developers for the agreed components. We define who authorizes changes, who handles each dependency and how progress is communicated.

Do we need to replace our infrastructure?

The assessment starts with your current environment. We can work on the client’s infrastructure, licenses and tools. A migration is proposed only when it serves the objective and is included in the scope.

Does the service include around-the-clock coverage?

Coverage is agreed for each service. It may include business hours or on-call arrangements for critical events, depending on the contract and availability. Response times and service levels are explicitly defined.

How do you investigate a slow platform?

We review the observed behavior, incident timing and available metrics. Logs, JVM behavior, connections and database activity help us develop hypotheses and validate adjustments with evidence.

LET’S BUILD THE NEXT STEP
